TFA BLACK Cherry
First off, this is not a flat cherry flavor. TFA Cherry extract is where you belong if all you want is plain cherry. That said, this is a slam dunk on a sweet black cherry flavor, if you ask me. Primarily, the cherry hits first, and there are notes of fruity sweetness on the backend. I can see why some may see this as a cola-taste, because there IS an amount of sweetness to this that's reminiscent of a soft drink. However, even taking that into consideration, I think this is an excellent flavor. It also plays well with others. I've enjoyed it as the main flavor or a secondary flavor in several mixes so far. Steeping only brings the flavor out more, but even straight snv this flavor impressed me. I'll be needing more quite soon, I'm sure.

TFA Black Cherry
Tastes like black cherry cola, and although you can taste the cherry, I taste a dark muted strong cola flavor more than a cherry flavor.

Good Cherry Undertone
I haven't used this as a stand-alone but I used it in a cherry cola recipe with great success. It definitely brings that flavor of dark cherries. I can imagine it wouldn't taste very good at high percentages or as a stand-alone, but works well as an undertone to bring dark cherry flavor. I use this with TFA Cola Syrup @ 9% : TFA Black Cherry @ 3.5% and have been really digging it. I'm sure it will work great in other recipes where you want a dark, semi-sweet, not-so-tart cherry flavor.

not my cherry
The cherry flavor is decent. It's the end that kills it with a candle waxy taste I can't tolerate. Some people may not mind this. I know some successful big names use it in their mix. Not for me I'll stick with FA thank you. Not a dis to BCV or TFA. Both are good companies, just not this flavor if you don't mind or notice the waxy taste go for it. This might dissipate if used very sparingly for a cherry undertone. I'm thinking under 1 percent. My two cents Looking forward to leaving more positive reviews soon. There are some super flavors here!

Good stuff
It has a bit of tartness, but a touch of sweetner balances it out. Good as a standalone and mixes well. It is an overpowering flavor so start low and work up
