Luscious Strawberry Flavor-Cap

I'm ridiculously picky when it comes to strawberry flavors. I get a lot of chemical and/or green notes from most strawberries. CAP Ripe Strawberries has been one of my favorites (if not my favorite) since it came out and Luscious Strawberry is right up there with it. While Ripe Strawberries gets closer to being authentic than this one does, Luscious Strawberry is a bit sweeter. I tend to think of it as the somewhat authentic version of CAP Sweet Strawberry. Luscious Strawberry is juicy and sweet with a nice fleshy like texture. It doesn't pull off the seedy skin texture the way CAP Ripe Strawberries does but it's added sweetness makes up for that. There are so many strawberry flavors out there that I almost skipped this one but I'm very glad I didn't. It fits nicely between CAP Sweet Strawberry and CAP Ripe Strawberries by offering up some of the best parts of each in a single flavor. I personally can use this as a replacement for Sweet Strawberry in a lot of recipes but it lacks the candy-like edge SS has so your results may vary. Regardless, it's a fantastic strawberry flavor everyone should have in their stash.
