Sharp.I found this very strong sassafras, almost spicy. No ice cream aparant, just solid rootbeer, very accurate. Start around 5%, steep for a week and add some custard or cream.

it floats.....?Not super versatile, good flavor, great smell. Have tried it with Cola and it's interesting. More A&W than Barq. KInda like those barrels. Not very creamy, it does not float

NOT BADBut not a rootbeer float. Root beer barrel hard candy taste instead of root beer to me anyway..but I like it.

great root beerThis at about 11-12% with vanilla bean ice cream at about 7% is wonderful root beer float. A little harsh for those that never smoked but so yummy with dinner. Will buy again

Yum Yum Yum!This makes for a super tasty Root Beer Float. I have been using this @ 10% with some EM for sweetening (although probably not necessary). The "float" part of this isn't that pronounced, the Root Beer is nice and mellow. I would like to kind of bring the ice cream flavor up a bit more but I'm having trouble thinking of a way of doing that without overshadowing the Root Beer flavor. If you added some vanilla bean ice cream flavor with some sassafrass or something I think that would be perfect for me. Verry yummy as a stand-alone, probably works well in recipes. Throat hit is light and "wet" (as opposed to dry I guess).

Best root beer flavor I've hadI made a concoction with the root beer as the main flavor and it has been a great hit. (I had a bit of banana cream, cheesecake crust, Acetyl Pyrazine, and vanilla bean in there as well)
